Vyshyvanka Day – a Celebration of Unity, Identity, and Culture
At Pakotek, we proudly take part in Vyshyvanka Day every year — one of Ukraine’s most meaningful cultural events. Though not an official public holiday, it carries enormous symbolic weight as a celebration of Ukrainian heritage, identity, and unity.
Wearing a vyshyvanka (traditional embroidered shirt) is not just about clothing. It’s a tribute to our ancestors, a symbol of national unity, resilience, dignity, and cultural strength — especially in times of hardship. These are the values we cherish as a team and strive to express through our work: producing high-quality embroidery, patches, and symbolic garments for institutions, schools, military units, and civic communities.
Every year, our team wears embroidered shirts — traditional or modern — and captures this moment together to express our shared connection to culture, country, and each other.
We believe that the true strength of a nation lies in its culture, history, and the people who honor and preserve it.
By celebrating Vyshyvanka Day, we are supporting not only tradition, but also national dignity, freedom, and Ukraine’s European future.
