Science Festival at Lviv Polytechnic 2025

In April 2025, the Institute of Publishing and Media Technologies (IPMT) took part for the first time in the Science Festival — a large-scale event at Lviv Polytechnic that brings together prospective students, current students, faculty members, and researchers.

Following its integration into Lviv Polytechnic, IPMT confidently joined the university community, proudly presenting its academic programs, laboratories, and teaching potential.

As a lecturer at the Department of Computer Technologies in Publishing and Printing Processes, and the head of the production company “Pakotek”, I, Yuri Petriv, joined my colleagues in representing the institute. We introduced applicants to modern fields such as printing technology, digital printing, computer vision, robotics, and information technologies — demonstrating the real-world relevance of these areas.

It was an opportunity to show young people that publishing is not just about books — it’s about technology, innovation, and media.

We strive for every prospective student to make a conscious and confident career choice, because a profession is not only about today — it’s about the future, prestige, and long-term potential.
