The New York Times is preparing a story featuring Pakotek’s production facility
Representatives of The New York Times, photojournalists Yurii Shyvala and Mauricio Lima, visited the production facility of Pakotek.
Their visit was connected with the preparation of a story about honoring the memory of fallen Ukrainian soldiers, in particular through the production of military flags used during farewell ceremonies and commemorative events.
During the visit, we demonstrated the main stages of our production process: artwork preparation, fabric printing, cutting, sewing, and final flag production. We also shared the specific aspects of working on such orders, where quality, accuracy, responsibility, and respect for the meaning of the product are especially important.
For our team, this was an important and responsible experience, as it is not only about production, but also about contributing to the preservation of memory and honoring those who gave their lives for Ukraine.
The article is expected to be published in The New York Times in September–October 2026. We will provide a separate update once it is released.
